    My Vert is getting a new stance

    Getting ready to start the next in a long line of upgrades to her:



    Bilstein Sports with the Eibach Pro-Kit. Good-bye to factory height.


    Current: '92 325i Vert

    Past: '84 Euro 320i -Had to leave in Italy

      So while taking off the rear shocks, I found the rear mount to be shot (should have listen to the advice I was given). While I wait for the parts to come in and the car is on jack stands, I decided to check the rear diff to list the area of attention for the next project.
      After finding that I have an open diff the question comes. What is the best ratio lsd for the vert. Stock m20.

        For general use the 3.73 is pretty ideal, bmw nailed this one.

        If you hardly ever go on the highway however, a 4.10 will give you some extra grunt around town and is nice.

            Finally done.....Decided that since I had the entire suspension apart I might as well replace the shock mount (front and rear), all new wheel bearings (front and rear), tie rod ends, and new braided brake lines. Photos up soon.

                  Been some time, but after all the work done here is a quick pic after backing it out of the garage. Now just need to wash her down and buff out.
