Yes as bmw325ci mentioned it was to check out for dents/waves

Maybe to check for dents/waves. Or maybe to make the red pop look more vivid. In my time as a painter I always used a olive drab color under red for easy coverage.

In for this. Red Mtech coupes are some of the best looking E30's.

I feel the same way... I've always wanted to see an Imola Red Mtech Coupe, nobody ever tackled it
