Yeah its getting the upgrades. Miles are so low I'm not going to pull it apart and put the beast shell and crap in it until it goes. It will get:

    Corvette servos
    Transgo hd2 shift kit
    Sonnax 2-3 shift valve
    transcooler.

With the added line pressure it should hold with the weight of the car.

nothing wrong with that. they fit well, yes a tad sung into the e30 but I've never seen one where the owner didn't love what he put into it. There are 2 LS1 M3's, an LS3 M3 and LS1 325 in my area and the LSx has to be hands down the way to go, if you don't care about purity. GJ on the build so far.

Yeah I have some ideas of relocating it anyways, I'm using a car intake so the truck bracket wont work. I want to locate it down on the lower drivers side out of the way. Just have to see where exactly my cross over pipe will go. one thing at a time. worst comes to worst I'll find a corvette bracket.

I'm going to be trying something I haven't seen with this swap before. Keep the rear sump pan and locate the engine back further. I'll have to modify the firewall....but it's just metal! Then use a e46 style front mount sway bar.

Also, after long conversations with FE4R and information he gathered from GCMARK, I'll be redoing the strut mount, going to beef it up a bit.

What are the advantages of using E28 camber plates other than them being cheaper?

The overall profile is short by like a 1/2" I believe, theoretically allowing you to have more "travel" by not needing to lower the springs down. overall camber and caster has more adjustment too. I'm going to add more material to the mounting area though, I won't ever need positive camber, and I'm not comfortable with the unsupported areas that are visible after hearing information from GCMARK and FE4R.

IronFreaks Cage Emporium is about to open.......

Well last weekend I brought a lil sumin sumin home........

It's time to cage! The garage looks like a pit....because it was. This was taken a day before my little sisters wedding, apparently a shop doubles as wedding decoration storage.....

Also..........I brought something home last night.

So new it still has the factory stickers on the motor and trans. My other LM7 is going to get set aside for something else I have planned.....

                      Plans for Friday and Saturday:
                      1. swap motors on engine stand
                      2. orginize shop a bit
                      3. add support legs to bender
                      4. get all the suspension and wheels on the car
                      5. get car on the ground
                      6. start bending stuff!

                      Should be a good weekend!

You should make a bolt in roll cage/bar and sell them :)

I can look into that. I'm building two full cages and one roll bar. When I do the roll bar I'll pay attention to it closely and note changes that would have to be made. I actually just read the SCCA cage specs last night. Fitment would be slightly less appealing on a bolt in because of the rules that are required for the bolting surfaces.

Does anyone know the going rate for e30 bolt-in roll bars?
