Looks like you failed at reaching your goal. What do you consider flashy? An M3 E30 in my books is damn flashy in my world. LOL
Geez this car is amazing! Got any videos?

Damn, that is impressive! We need some video of this thing running to fully balance the awe it inspires.Leave a comment:

Cheers! So minimizing obstructions helps, and it probably depends on how big your intake and cooler are. If it were me I would mount the oil cooler in a corner of the front air dam in lieu of brake ducts. Hard to say- On the exhaust I like the lighter weight and simplicity of single. Plus, on this car there wasn't much space to get around the corner of the cell and out the back.do you think on track having an intake and oil cooler stealing some air from the radiator will affect cooling?
The car looks awesome by the way -- definitely inspiring as I think it looks much cleaner than some of the other swaps I've seen pics of.
I'm also on the fence about the y-pipe exhaust or duals. Any thoughts? Obviously the single y-pipe style is better for clearance and the duals sounds better, aside from that in the 350-450hp power levels I'm not sure there is much of an advantage to duals.
Absolutely!
Thanks Garret, excellent work on your brackets!
Thanks! The headers are bastardized JTR's. I had to re-route the driver's side to clear the steering:

do you think on track having an intake and oil cooler stealing some air from the radiator will affect cooling?I hear you. Seems small.
Just passed 500mi on the E30. Cruising temps ~190, and city stop and go ~215. It will run a bit cooler still when I get the splitter/undertray done as well.
The little rad handles the LS7 FD like a champ (427ci). Ducting is key; completely boxing in the entrance and then an undertray that extends to the rear of the motor. So a smaller radiator is possible if it is efficient.
