      what about vinyl on the roof? probably a little more durable then plasticdip and you can peel it off when you want to

              Vinyl is definitely more durable. I think that the paint would have to be prepped before that.

              How do I get rid of the clearcoat?? Any recommendations?

                          I've been reading up on it a bit. Some people say hit it with 600 grit sand paper to remove the peeling bits and then 1200 to smooth out the clearcoat. Then buff.

                            for the not running - if it turns over but not starts, pull the relays outside of the fusebox, give them a good cleaning and install. If the DME/crank sensor is good, it'll start right up.

                              I think it turns over. The P/O said he went through everything and the AFM was the last thing that didn't check out.

                              I'll clean up the relay's though... wouldn't hurt.
