    1986 E30 325es, Just picked up!

    Whats up R3V Limited!
This is my first posting may as well introduce myself.
My name is Rudy, I'm 18 years old, I reside in Los Angeles, CA and today I picked up my first project car an 86 325es! I'm new to e30s, and well cars in general. But e30s have always caught my attention. Got a job, and was ale to pick this up for $625! The engine is blown though lol, here are the pics and description for the ad. I haven't taken any pics myself yet, as my phone has been dead all day.

"i have this 1986 325es e30 up for grabs. just sunday i was driving and i blew out the motor. so i have to let it go for cheap. gotta start saving for another one. it has the mtech steering wheel and the mtech trunk spoiler. with the mtech front bumper as ell. the body is straight the sun roof doesny open and neither does the front drivers window. little dent in front right fender. brand new speakers and face plate as well. lowballers welcomed."

What do you guys think? Was this a good price?

I figure since the engine was out I put in a higher performance engine. I know M50/52, and S50/52 are most common. General questions, whats the average price range for these? Difficulty level ? Any other general tips and advice would be appreciated.

Not bad at all. For $200 and you can throw in a working m20.
Bought parts from me before? leave your feedback here

              Thanks for the welcome!

Hopefully I can start putting money into her sometime by summer, for now just planning out for what needs to be done first, and goodies i want in the long run ha.

Killacortes, not sure the color code but its a close match to the May 2013 COTM.

Our mechanic is gonna take a look at the engine tonight, I would stop by but have class.
So far, needs a hood latch, rear trunk opens a little clunky, automatic sunroof not working, center console is loose, needs cover for electricals under steering wheel, foglights, just minor details aside from the engine.

Gotta venture back to get the glove box from previous owner.

Great News, the engine is running ! Our mechanic still said to look for a new engine meanwhile, but test driving it felt great! Hopefully I can get it to Bimmerfest this sunday.
