late to the party, but this is a nice track build. I have been contemplating something similar to this for my e30, but im having a hard time imagining chopping it up and drilling a bunch of holes in a clean e30. mite have to pickup a beater and do work. cant wait to see finished product, keep up the good work!

It's nice for what you pay for it, but like he said, it's racecar quality. So...........FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, don't jack your car up. Option two.....get a different one and do this. He had some quarter panel fender issues so this was a great option for him.

I just want to comment and say you are doing one hell of a job on this track car. I'm also really glad you posted that site you got the panels from because I could not remember for the life of me what it was called. I'm still a little sketched out since all there money is in czk.. Did you just do the conversion and pay with credit card or paypal?

Reason I'm asking is I had to part out my e30 drift car.. Kinda have a pic in sig... Over a year ago now to buy a house and now that I have the house I'm building a new drift car witch is an e36 LSX swapped.

Also.. You will wanna cut more out of the foot well area go higher.. You need to account for suspension when it is compressed at full lock.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!

your rear quarters looked like they fit up better than my dtmfiberjunk, are the parts from pesch chopped strand or woven fabric? It's weird seeing your thread because it's like we are in a parallel universe, my build is very similar.

Very cool, the fiberglass c pillar piece looks nice for only $97 euros. Are there any build threads of anyone actually using one in a build?

Chop strand, and its hands down better, I've dealt with both.

C-pillars belong on M3's..........this is just a POS wannabe racecar early model.

IronFreak - I'm with ya....my interest is to have an "emulated" E30M3 Race Car...I'm not in the mode to hack up my REAL E30M3.

Good to hear the fiberglass quality is better with Pesch

I'd be curious to know if the C-Pillar is a fully emulated piece..or just the outside fascia etc...trying to figure out how it would be integrated and hopefully appear pseudo factory.

Hopefully somebody does Fiberglass C-Pillar and share so we can all learn

                                thx
