Are you going to do anything to the head while it's off?

Got all my parts back to the garage from powder coating and laid every thing out in the driveway, turned out real good. All the hot parts are coated in a high temp black powder coat, rated for 1300 degrees but im not super confident in that lol

Also got my oil filter housing tapped and read to go.

Love coming home to this :)

This how i left her yesterday, cant wait for more parts to get here! hopefully tomorrow or saturday. Those packages are my billy rear shocks (the only piece of the suspension still stock) and my Condor engine mounts.

Guten parts has had the best prices I have found. And Levent is amazing when it comes to customer service. I emailed him a pretty detailed question, and he CALLED me with the answer in 5 MINUTES. I was blown away.

Also, im jealous about your trip to Summit. I have been meaning to go to the one here in Georgia forever.
Ill for sure have to check them out, thanks for the heads up! ya its really nice living so close to summit, i take it for granted, im 30 mins away from almost any car part i need lol.

Didn't think we had enough high temp powder left to finish my stuff but we had just barely enough lol.

Then we took a quick trip to Summit Racing (30 mins away) to get the rest of the little stuff i needed, Couplers, vbands, etc etc.

I would like to say how completely awesome Pelican Parts is, I bought every little o-ring, gasket, belt and seal I could think of on the M20 and my total was under $100 and I had a tracking number in less then 3 hours lol. They are an awesome company with fantastic service :)

Well waiting for more parts to get here so we decided to do some cleaning, the head came out super awesome, cleaned up real nice then a little cast aluminum paint to top it off,

Then we decided to start cleaning up the engine bay a little, more tomorrow then a little paint and she should be looking good!

what rear end are you running? IMO, you should try to find a 3.15, clutch-pack or torsen, off of a z3.
My stock rear end took a crap shortly after i bought it and because its a sedan it was an open diff anyway, so i found and bought a 3.73 limited slip from cali off a user on here. im not to worried about the rear end, it should hold up well but thanks for the suggestion!

    Quick update,

Got all my parts powder coated over the weekend, went with a wrinkle black and then just a plain silver for all the brackets, also ordered solid engine mounts because mine where broken, So now just waiting for the HG and studs to get here. Tomorrow I plan to clean the engine bay as much as possible and possibly shoot a little paint to clean it up, we shall see!
