My new project. 1986 325 es auto. Yeah, I know, it wasn't the best year or model to buy. So what? She's so pretty and I can make her perfect.
The GOOD:
starts and runs
Nice seats
Erm....starts and runs?
The BAD:
Soft brakes (tho trying to stop a mile before the red light is...exciting)
No AC ( kind of stumped here, actually, the fan blows but its not cold)
Odometer is bad
Window and sunroof motors are going
This auto tranny sucks huge balls
Faded red paint
The FUTURE:
AC
Replace power windows with manual cranks
Stainless steel lines
Getrag 260 swap.
325i head swap (because I want a 327i, dammit)
Euro grill
Yellow lights
Paint (black or grey)
suspension overhaul.
Wheels (15s, probably)
Long story short, I will be keeping her forever and plan on doing most of the work myself. Input is appreciated and considered.
