Here are the pictures of it at the Junkyard, typical junkyard car. Very dirty and oxidized but the interior is in great condition, low miles of 186k. Bought it for 1000.
After getting the car apart, found out the fuel tank and pump is garbage, picking up a new Spectra Premium Ni Terne Tank, getting a new Fuel Pump to hopefully fix that. It just wasn't pumping gas to the engine bay because the pump was barely running.
Stripped out the OEM radio and speakers(On eBay)
Painted the Kidney Grill and Mirrors.
Painted the Valve Cover with High Temp Red and Black.
Painted all four bottle caps. Yes I know I need knew tires! Lol
DIY Shadowlining
Painted the bumper trim
Thanks. I am not sure yet, my biggest goal is to make it a very clean ride and as for the engine either Stroker Rebuild or Turbo. I use to have an E30 318i.
Today I got paid so...
New Spectra Fuel Tank ordered.
Almost New Fuel pump from a R3V Member.
New Kumho XPERT Tires put on.
All the little parts ordered.
Lastly, a bolt on Magnaflow Exhaust.
dude that interior looks mighty clean for a junkyard find. looks like a fun project.
New emblems surprisingly do so much for exterior appearance.
You're right because thankfully this car has been sitting for half of its life. You should see how clean the interior is when I finally get it back in. The seats and dash are absolutely in perfect condition.
Pretty much done just minor things left. IE Rear Emblem, Shift Boot, Shift Knob Insert, Window Switches, Floor Mats, High Beam Cross Hairs, Have an oil leak going into the exhaust, running a little hot and some slight vibrations.
