          M3 E30 with S85

Sure it has been done before but this will be Jake's take on it and will likely differ a bit.

The one being thought of was cut up to fit late model front and rear subframes IIRC.

Correct. I am fairly certain (without looking it up) that the car was not widened or stretched.

In because I must see this take shape. I really hope to witness this beast in person some day, at a gathering or something.

Pretty sure you're thinking of the E63 that was panelled to look like an E30.

The silver M3 with E90 subframes was only widened to fit meaty rubber.

Parts are showing up for the Blunttech S85 Build.

                      Fortune Auto Coilovers are here.

The goal for this car is to have a fairly quiet exhaust system. So we are looking to the OEM world. This is a take off exhaust from a Dodge Viper. Before the resonators there will be a cross over pipe....oh yeah and electric cutouts.

Im flying out to Jakes New years day to get started on the car. Ill spend as many days as Jake can stand me which should be about 2. Hope to get sub frames dropped, fuel tank dropped, complete underside prepped with all new brake and fuel lines.and undercoated.. fab up removable core support.. get motor test fitted in the car and look at brake options. That may be a bit optimistic.. Im just hoping Jake can hang. If not we will call in Danny
