Cabrio turbo build

well I had a black 325is that I loved but had so much issues with it was unreal so got rid of it found this beautiful cabrio , I don't want to type a lot and bore you guys so I am just gonna get to the pics and whats been done so far including my 2.9l stroker turbo project this is going to be a slow build do to parts taking 4 ever to come in but im almost complete and im in the process of removing the 2.5 in the cabrio replace the ripped soft top find full black interior go meth injection already got the kit , and get the car painted lemans blue , tell me what you guys think and what I can do to improve a few things as pointers if you want thanks! and enjoy

first thing I went out and bought



when I blew it I bent a rod due to me thinking I can tune....

here is what iv been busy working on so far , I wanna just quickly get the engine bay all cleaned up and painted blue so I can drop the motor in get everything sorted out and running than the whole car is getting painted metallic lemans blue ,

dropped the sub frame













































only cut that I managed to get out of all this engine smashed my hand against the frame x) nothing to serious hands of steel haha

haha its a pain in the ass but it was much easier to do than taking it out of the top I damaged so much crap last time , just waiting on my parts from kamotors and the engine will get dropped In cleaning up a few things and still need to weld a bun for the turbo return

here is how my oil setup is atm I need adapter for the oil cooler tho which im waiting on aswell

while I wait for parts and get everything going , im cleaning up the place painted the engine bay black and the outside will still go blue

been busy working my ass off to get this car up and running and finally got everything together , only issue was the wasted spark setup gave me a headache so im back to a single coil just untill i get the exhaust done up and fix any leaks and get the cars soft top repaired and a new paint job

question: what do you guys do with all your vaccum lines i got a shit load and i just put a bunch of t-fittings and connected them all to the 2 vacuum lines on the manifold thanks ,

first start up pretty much running and not dyeing off not hitting boost im still playing around with my boost controller what a pain and need the exhaust done

almost there the bay will be cleaned when i get the downpipe and exhaust done , only problem is the vacuum lines there's way to much and was wondering how everybody that's turboed run there vacuum lines: ,boost controller , megasquirt ,boost gauge , wastegate , meth kit , i have all these vacuum lines with a bunch of t fittings ,

so finally got my diff done didnt take any pics welded it for now untill i find an lsd from an IS , need to clean up the bay a bit and wrap the exhaust with heat wrap tom ill be getting a full catback done and going for my 500km break in so i can replace my oil to Royal purple

here is how it sits not its pretty damn low from the sides i need to get the bumper fabbed to fit with the intercooler and the front valance and rear bumper sorted out i managed to source a full set of plastic bumpers from my parts e30 :D

also finally figured out that my brand new universal MSD wires did not work at all sourced a set of taylor pro series wires working great with my wasted spark setup and ms2 ,



















planning on re routing the intercooler piping on the right from under the car so i dont have to deal with cutting the valance to much and it being a pain in the ass hopefully theres enough room so it doesnt hit the powersteering or alternater belts while they spin

Boost gauge and Megasquirt -> intake manifold triangle port 1
BOV and Fuel pressure regulator -> intake manifold triangle port 2
Wastegate -> Boost controller -> T'd at the charcoal canister line under the throttle body

okay so for the wastegate and boost controller i should route the lines and t them off 2 the canister ? and that should work well never thought of that
