Agreed. But with the Bilstein Sports, I also don't want to be over-dampened.

I also did some soul searching last night and decided to back off the 300lb from springs. I'm going to start with 250lb springs and around 220lbs in the rear (maybe a bit higher).

I got antsy and ordered a set of springs a bit too stiff for the street.

Nice choice with the suspension upgrade. So are those your GC housings^^ yours or just pics of what the final product will look like? Wondering since you mentioned a couple days back youre preparing housing for the coil overs. What I am getting at is that I'm curious about your choice on the front sway bar mount location and if you gave any thought about the length of the threaded piece that the adjustable collar moves up and down on.

I feel the exact same way. I don't like em, but I respect them.

    But anyways, sneak peek:

and reinforced housings because I plan on taking it off some sweet jumps

A little ahead of schedule, but I pulled an extra set of strut housings out of storage and am preparing them for coilovers. Give me a week and I'll make your wildest dreams come true. And an extra front subframe. I'm going to do something with that one too.

I played with the air/fuel screw on the carb today and got it to idle a bit leaner. I was at 13.1, but I backed off and left it at 12.4-12.6.

And this is my view of the gauge when driving. Not the best, but not the worst. I can think of 20 other places to mount this gauge that would be significantly worse than where it is now.

From reading various 38/38 carb tuning threads, 14.5-7 at cruise sounds about right.

WOT should be about 13.1, and Idle should be over 12.5 is what I'm seeing online regarding the 38/38, or just in general.

I've been doing some reading up based on this thread here:

Idle is the easiest adjust to the AFR on with a carb. Screw the idle mixture screw in (clockwise) until you hit mid-upper 13s.
Dang it. I meant rich but I wrote lean.

But I meant rich. And I'll do what you suggested.
