You're totally right, I definitely understand. I more meant I used cheap parts to get it to not blow up right away. I feel like I have almost everything to make this a solid little car. I believe that when I get a tune that the afrs and timing will be spot on. I don't rip on it all day everyday, I just cruise

Talk to whodwho and get megasquirt, it will make it 10x more drive able.
I assume you are also running an air filter on the turbo?

Ha it's already way drivable! And I would if I had the money in hand. But I don't. So I have to make the best with what I got ;) and if I can get it tuned for $100 more, I'm going to do that

Last night I fixed my oil feed! I got the tee fitting and replaced the sandwich adapter. Works great with no more leaks :) and I got the oil cooler back in. I had a buddy help me and he welded the 90 degree bends from the stock cooler to the shortened straight pieces coming out of the thermostat housing, it was a b-word to get back in be we got it

Here's the tee fitting. Block and underside of the car are very very nasty

Here's the oil drain and where it's welded to the pan.

Good stuff doing it on your own. But everyone here is seriously just looking out for you - stop or don't peg the throttle anymore if you're saying the AFR's are jumping anything higher than 12 on boost.

Thanks man! And I really don't rip it anymore. I can drive it exactly how I drove it before without hitting boost. The tune will come soon! But I do appreciate all the feed back and advise!

Why did you move the feed line? The leak could have been fixed with Thread sealant. Also Are you running an air filter?

I was using a sandwich adapter between the oil filter and thermostat. The I-mate ring in the adapter was junk and was leaking. So I bought the tee fitting do I could get rid of the adapter. And no, no filter

I would run a filter, the hp to be gained without it is pretty negligible. On my car the filter gets dirty quick, I would get one on asap. I also noticed that you don't have a valve cover hose, thats another point that needs to be addressed other wise dirt could get in there as well as shoot alot of oil mist out and be a potential fire hazard. I like that the video inspired you but you are going to quickly learn that this setup wont last without addressing tuning.

Edit: Another thing, your oil drain line may cause issues as well Id suggest making it as close to a 90 degree angle as possible.

For sure. I just don't have a filter and don't want to buy one. Stupid but oh well. Pcv I'm not worried about. The valve cover has those baffles so oil doesn't come out, and it's always under positive pressure so I don't think dirt is a big worry, but I do get the risk. I plan on putting a filter on it soon. My oil drain is fine? Coming off the turbo it's at 6 o'clock and the drain tube doesn't droop. It's got a nice, close to 90 degree bend in it...?

So a little update for the past few weeks.
The eBay oil line failed and fried my turbo. I used what I had saved up and go another one and a way better oil line.

The afrs have gotten leaner over the past few weeks. Everything started great after the trans am injectors, but just got ever so lean. I pulled the fuel pump out today to check on the hose from the pump to the top hat. Thing was shot. Bloated and was leaking air when I squeezed it. I replaced it with spare -6 push lock and went for a drive.

Once the fmu loads up, afrs start at 11 and creep to 12 then drop to 10.6. TCD chip is doing marvelous
