just saw that there was a section for projects. so heres mine so far.
well i sold my e36 for a 1989 cirrusblau convertible 5spd 325i. and im loving it. i paid 3k for it. 100% stock and rust free. it was a hard find. especially in Indiana. or anywhere in the midwest for that matter. This is my first 5spd so i was lucky that i test drove it in the snow.lol it came with records that date all the way back to 89' which i was pretty excited about.
the records

these pics are from the day i test drove it

then i cleaned it up a little bit

i didnt see any records for the timing belt though so that was the first thing i stared getting into. i was pretty sketched out about it so i got a quote from Reggies Motorworks, and he wanted $800 to change the belt. :shifty so i just did it myself. I got a kit from fcpeuro and it came with a timing belt, tensioner, waterpump, camshaft/crankshaft seals, rocker arm end plugs, and a valve cover gasket. i bought all the other belts and an intake manifold gasket from my local autoparts store. my friends and i knocked it out in a weekend. honestly it was way easier than i thought it would be! :alright

and then i did some paint work and it turned out pretty good

I traded the wheels that were on my e36 for some esm002r's (bbs rs knockoffs) straght up, brand new in the box :D and they fit great! i feel like i might need some spacers once its low and camber the dials in. but they look good from the test fiit. specs are 16x8 et20/16x9 et15.

rear fit

front fit

I/m not sure what size tires im going to run yet. but i will need a lot of sretch because im going really low. next purchase is the severe duty skidplate and coilovers. thinking BC or STANCE coils. hopefully the car will be painted, interior re-done and turbo before street life tour in september :eyebrows
