I love that look also.
Same wheels, look great! If I can fit them properly ill stick with the OEM+ look.
I forgot to mention that they're 16x7/8 et 28. I can't believe how light they are also!
I grabbed some E24 rear seats to match my E21 Recaros but I'm not sold on the look. I doubt I'll ever have passengers back there, might look into building a very nice rear seat delete. Another thing I need to think more about.

Those wheels should work.
Here is motivation to keep the fenders stock and correct:

I've always like the full face pig cheek look. Thanks for the pics!Oliver and Joel already have most of this squared away, but for the sake of posterity.
There are two versions of alpina flares (aka pig cheeks, aka bubble flares).
The full face version

and the bumper-cutout version

Front faschia's always varied, many times there was none used at all. There were never any "off-the-shelf" "this-is-the-standard".
Turbo flares or the ACSchnitzer flares are a possibility. That decision will come later... as will what color to re-paint her.Leave a comment:

Thanks for all the kind words guys!
I'm still on the fence about cutting into such an original car, and I will hold off until I mock up the wheels and see what clearances I am working with. I don't mind a flared 2002, and this isn't a BMW I plan on parting with...
Got the M10 out!

Here's a shot of the Alpinas (Special thanks to mkcman17!). I'm thinking of having them sent out to be refinished. They have some minor curb damage and need some new paint.

And one more pic of the S14 and transmission. Theyre super clean, can't wait to drop them in today/ tomorrow.

Oh hey, my old s14!
Good luck with this build man, I'm already sad about selling it all to you.
At least you're going to do something with it!Leave a comment:

the front clip stays the same (the fenders are welded onto the clip) usually the front air dam is also installed as a part of a alpina replicaLeave a comment:
