the high speed chase was the best thing to happen to me. before it I got pulled over for speeding nearly weekly. now I still speed but not like it used to. did some time in jail over it, paid a lot in fees and fines but all is good. Its been nearly 8 years since that happened.

I defiantly learned from that, its one of the biggest mistakes I ever made in my life. however I don't regret it because it changed my life for the better

as for the rental, a wash wouldn't of helped it at all. both rear shocks were blown. if I attempted to take off even remotely quickly it felt like the front end was coming up. I had to travel through the mountains on the way back, I don't think I have ever been so scared, that car handled like crap. the front shocks were maxed out on it travel

At first I didn't think you would last.

As it turns out, I think you'll do fine here.

Just try not to kill this one or get into any high speed pursuits, k?

Oh and rental cars are cars too. You could have at least given it a bath as a show of appreciation for taking one for the team. I mean a lsx in the trunk? Thats like a lion fucking the house cat.

Im also currently working on brakes right now, currently I have and decided on the mazda calipers with e46 CSL m3 rotors up front and for the rear I have e46 m3 calipers and e46 m3 CSL rotors. I also have euro e36 m3 3 channel ABS. Im not 100% sure if the front rotors will stay, I may need to look into another option due to offsets. I might end up running rear rotors on the front.

next up the rear end. believe ill be over 615hp at the wheels. I know the e30 stuff wont last with that power, and i don't want to spend 2k on built half shafts. I found a guy selling his fully built ford 9" out of his Camaro. I was very tempted but i thought about it a lot and decided to go with the e28 rear subframe. I found one at a junk yard with a 3.25lsd in it and also newish half shafts. I paid 200 for it all. to get the e28 subframe to fit on the e30 it requires new bushings, so i made them out of polly. turns out that the trailing arms use different sizes than the e30. so if anyone wants the e30 set i made PM me and ill let them go cheap. after about 20 hours of rust removal and all new seals and bearing i have this.

this is what im currently working on.

This is one of the most batshit insane, no-fucks-given, epic builds I've seen in a good long while. Bravo, sir. Subscribed.

i cracked it to all hell. so to weld it 100% i cut it all apart and beveled and welded, then back gouged and welded over and over and over. then machined it flat. good as new, honestly you can hardly tell it was ever in 4 pieces.

I wanted to try and bring some of the m3 into this car, i was able to salvage the radiator, no shit went through a telephone pole at 70+mph head on and the radiator was still good. i also took the steering wheel, unfortuantly the splines are different. so I took a hole saw and cut out the splines from both and then epoxied the e30 splines into the mtech3 wheel. i tried welding it 3 times, its unweldable.
