My motor seems to like rotella. Since changing over, it has quieted the lifters substantially and while driving across country, (4500 miles) I only burned half a quart.

Also, I successfully made it across country with no major issues. Here are a couple of decent pictures that I took on the trip (photo bucket ruined the quality):

With that being said, the needle bearings in the rear half of my late model M3 driveshaft have seized. Does anyone in the San Francisco/ Bay Area have the rear half of a 4-bolt 328i or M3 driveshaft?

I want to do a long road trip in my M3, looks like fun.

I also use Rotella T6 in my s52. I have over 200k on it and it seems to do well in there. I was burning a lot of oil with normal synthetic but the Rotella doesn't seem to burn as much. I also don't have lifter tick anymore since switching.

4,500 miles across the country? I thought it was more around 2,500?
Or are you going there and back?

Oh and nice car, I normally do not like the color red in general, but I do like this color
