I'd be sad to have a late model e30 that was supposed to be plastic bumpers but came with metal lol

Someone must have swapped over them to early model and did the bumper tuck mod

Haha I am now... I wish you guys never told me!

Hopefully I can find a plastic bumper and new front fenders soon. Then this thing will look a lot better.

Future plans: coils, new wheels and tires, get the engine in good daily driving condition, replace the blower to repair the heater and AC. Also - paint correction, and re spray various trim black

        Thanks for the comments everyone!!

Experimented with some paint correction yesterday - I was blown away by the results. Went from dull, swirly old paint to pretty much a mirror finish. No wax - just polishing and correcting the paint!

I only did this one small test spot because I didn't have much time and just wanted to see what kind of results I got. And obviously there are still larger, deeper scratches that no polisher can buff out. Those require wet sanding and/or touch up paint

Nice work so far and good luck!

            Lol this ^

OP, run the VIN through BMWs reader, it'll tell you everything you need to know about the car, production date, original color, motor/trans, etc

              Alright, here we go:

seems to match what I have on my title...

I'm starting to really like this car. It's so solid. I wish it was a bit quicker tho. I live up on a bit of a hill and there's a long slow climb on the highway to get there. I'm not going to say it struggles, but it definitely could be quicker.

Does anyone know where to find a replacement blower? I want to get my heater working before winter rolls in!

                LSD? Nice.

I'd check Pelican Parts for a blower motor.

                M42 turbo time yo!
