You do realize that you will have to route to wires out of the cluster to your favorite switch position?
Switch is an option, if you like it you use it, if you don't then there is no need to route wires etc...
How does that sound?

I'm definitely interested, if the price is right. Been looking for a nice progressive shift light and the only ones that are somewhat appealing are the Shift-I from Ecliptech.

wow! nice project, I have an e30 with a 24v obd1 engine swap, it should work since rpm signal is the same from the tach right? is the first batch already out? :D

Our goal wasn't making night rider cheesy look shiftlights that goes on with 800rpms but to make it as realistic and funcitonal as they should be.
So we decided to take the rpms where engine torque starts to drop as a max, all seven LEDs starts to blink.
Then with max-200rpm...5 green, yellow LED ligths on,
with max-400rpm...all 5 green LEDs are on,
with max-600rpm...4 green LEDs are on,
..
with max-1200rpm...1 green LED is on.
Below that no lightshow...
I expect that nobody cruises past 5k rpm mark :pimp:

This, as soon as I saw the you tube video I wanted this bad. But I was thinking tonight that could be annoying when just cruising around, especially at night. But seriously this is a cool piece of kit.
Damn you 5 speed swap, it can't come soon enough.
