Sorry for the delay. We made some improvements to the Shiftlights, but by doing that we also inserted a bug into the code which we found during the testing procedures. We are sorting it out and will then have to re-program all the boards. Should take us about a week.
Please be patient, we are doing our best to send you perfectly working Shiftlights.
Again, sorry for the delay.

I received my shiftlight kit on Monday and after months of anticipation I got to work installing it immediately in my 1987 325is
It is extremely well built and the high quality PCBs (printed circuit boards) are well labeled.
The highly detailed installation manual was emailed to me in PDF format, and the color pictures inside made it a breeze to follow.
You are able to set the low and high RPM thresholds for both cold and normal operating temperatures. It takes a little time and steady hands to get the settings just right, but if you follow the instructions it is not difficult.
All together it only took a couple hours, but most of that was taking the cluster out of the car and taking parts out of another cluster to fix a wonky gas gauge and general cleaning while I had it open.
Anyway I am throughly impressed with the time and thought and engineering that went into this unique product. Not only that but the people who sell it are a pleasure to deal with.
Here is a video showing it right after I hooked it up for a test rev.

Awesome products. Just a thought, you should keep updating your OP so people don't have to sift through 12 pages to find out whats going on.
Keep up the good work. You guys should develop your own version of a boost gauge that replaces the MPG gauge. I know a guy was doing that for a while but I haven't seen any for sale in about a year.
