the kits from the guy on ebay. i went with the cheaper of the fabrics he had but still feels very nice and wasn't that bad putting them together. just a little time consuming is all.

    started a topic Betty white

    Betty white

Hello fellow R3vers!! posted a couple things on here and figured it was time for an official build thread for my main b**ch Betty White. a little background of myself and the car... basically it all started when i was 15 and my dad bought a silver 2002 from the back of a salvation army for 1500 big ones. the car was a 76 so he sold it and a few weeks later he stumbled upon a 73 3.0cs coupe for just over 7k that he saw in some guys garage in our neighborhood. needless to say i was forever bit by the "bavarian bug". after i sold my gas guzzler of a 98 tahoe i was on the hunt for a e30. after a couple months of craigslist lurking i stumbled upon the Betty you see before you! original alpine white paint and 202k on a broken odometer and the high horsepower M-stripes. after a couple weeks of negotiation we shook on 3k for the ol' thing. and it escelated rapidly from there. basically went through the whole suspension of the car with GC coil, stainless brake lines, koni sports, condor speed shop bushings everywhere, and other odds and ends that make corners feel like they don't exist. enough rambling from me on to the pictures!

what she looked like moments after i signed my life away

only 3 days after i got her the rack blew out so let the wrenching beginwouldnt pass smog so out with the old in with the new cleaned up the guts little bit
    much needed rear end overhaul
and ill put this here just cause
how she sat with a fresh rear end finally some lows also took of the "go-fast stickers" IS lip and painted the under bumperand the side skirts and with the help of the guys at CAtuned got her stopping properly repainted the front end as wellfixed my ODOsome ECS 12.5 mm spacers for the reargot one of them shift shortener things and some new rubber bitsthat e30 waffleswaffleswaffles! me and the pops fueling up for Bfest at the rose bowl this was too badass not to post. friend of mine julian build this piece of artgot around to rebuilding the brakes and on to the interiorafter i put the shortened koni sports from the corado and slammer her downwhich lasted all of 20 hours before i busted the oil panfinally finished the rest of the interior to matchand the most recent thing i found from a fellow member on here today going to bondo and make it look nice before it goes on the carwell that just about catches us up to current times hope you enjoy and stay tuned for much more. hopefully have the bbs valence on later this week!!
