i know, i had the pan in working on it when i sent the last batch of hardware out for plating and forgot about the drain plug. im going to see if i can get someone doing a resto to toss it in with their plating. i put the motor in this morning by myself and just took it real slow. i had blankets on the inner fenders and stuff and no scratches or dents. i was sweatin though. i dropped it in without the tranny or intake though so it was pretty simple

its looking very nice blunty, i hope to see it in person at some point, i bet the pictures dont do it any justice.

Nothing but admiration. And maybe a little envy.

Part of me would LOVE to take on a project of this scope. But when you take the step up from building a great car to daily driving a concours worthy car...you are a different man than I.

It's the kind of thing I love seeing other people do, but I'm not so sure I would have the heart to park that thing at the local grocery store without thinking about a ding every second I'm doing my shopping.

im with you on that. i started this to build a nice clean fun car but ive gotten carried away. i will drive this car on nice days and probably never leave it in a lot for the same reasons you stated. im building a second 1969 02 for a daily driver that i dont have to worry about so much
