A couple shout outs here. I do shakedown at a little local track (down in Tuscon, AZ) called the Musselman Honda Circuit. They are good people down there and they charge a really reasonable fee for open track hours.

Here is a shot pre-shakedown. 5 hrs of open track time on a Thursday for $80.

My buddy here in Phoenix, Alex Fuller at Bimmer Life Tuning, has done the tuning work on the car after the E85 conversion, and we ended up with this dyno graph. Now, I'm not a big believer in the numbers, but I will say that this was done on a Mustang dyno in 115 degree ambient temps. We hit some artificial knock I believe is coming from the harmonics caused by the aluminum engine mounts. I will say that I am really happy with the torque curve, and that all the power feels very usable. We are going to put it back on the dyno once it cools down a little and I swap back to Delrin mounts.

If you guys want more specific pictures of anything, or have questions, let me know. Happy to help if I can. You can follow the shop on instagram too, if you want. There are daily updates there on this and other projects I'm working on. @levelmotorsport

Nice. My wastegate's re-circulation pipe to the downpipe was starting to show some soot on the vband.
Of course it has no gasket or sees the same pressure # as you, being exhaust, but it just got me thinking. :p
    Your build gives me ideas!

Pretty speechless man, you're doing lots of cool things that aren't documented enough. Thanks for sharing!
Love the underbody aero. Haven't seen anyone share something like that on the forum before.

I added a full flat bottom and diffuser to the aero package, and let me tell you, it made a HUGE difference.

Custom trans mounts. Swapped to aluminum and raised the engine 10mm.

I dropped a valve at Buttonwillow in March running with Global Time Attack. Because of the valve drop I swapped over from the M50 to an M52 I had on the engine stand mostly prepped. I upgraded to a Supertech valvetrain, added a Ishihara-Johnson teflon lined crank scraper, ARP Rod bolts, King Racing rod bearings, converted to E85, added a custom surge tank, and changed some of the soft charge piping to Vbands. Funny how things snowball.

I shaved some weight by doing a full fiberglass roof replacement and a custom body kit.

Hey folks. Sorry about the delay in updating. I really suck at keeping up with this stuff, especially when I'm busy doing builds. Anyway, lots has changed since my last update so I won't waste anymore time and just get started with the photos.

How bad was ripping out the sunroof mech? Been thinking about it for a while since mine doesn't work.
