    Fuel Filter

Went ahead and swapped the fuel filter, oil filter, and topped off the brake fluid and PS ATF fluid. Also, found some more hoses that need to be replaced.

    Window Sills

It looks as though someone tried or did break into this car, and in doing so, destroyed the weather stripping. I think the locks are broken, too, but I haven't looked into it. I just can't lock/unlock the car from the doors only the trunk.

Looked like this on both sides.

Very easy to remove. Simply roll down the window and gently pry from up from the clips.

Finished. You have to make sure that you press the seal all the way forward to seal the window.

    Sunroof

Fixed my broken sunroof. The cable system was completely shattered and missing parts so it required a full swap.

Got the parts off of r3v member vpilarrt. Thanks!

That carpet looks great. I considered the oem replacement, but found a place selling molded carpet for $170-300 depending on options. Still can't beat oem though.

    Keep it up.
I considered going with aftermarket, but I was afraid of the fit. That and I didn't want to make it more difficult than it has to be. It'll be better in the long run. pretty much OEM or nothing at all.

Thanks. I've been driving beater e30s for so long that I can't wait to have this one all put together.

    Front Bumper Cover removal

The front bumper cover is toast. So I've got Backtrailzracer selling me an uncracked one. I went ahead and started removing it. Body filler and random wood screws made it a more difficult task than it should've been...

    Bumper Cover off

The Trim pieces might be up for sale soon. slight wear and damage. Will probably sell for super cheap.

Also I saved these for someone who might need them for their aftermarket kits. I'll post them in the for sale section.

And bumper back on for the time being.

    Coming up:
    Euro grill restoration
    Smiley install
    CA Bushings

    Floor pan rust

Today I took care of the surface rust starting under the pedals.

    Sanded with 140 grit

    Primed with Rustoleum Primer

    Painted with Rustoleum Enamel

I didn't bother masking it. New carpet will cover it up :-)

Learn something every day. I have the 675 BMW SOUND SYSTEM option so you're right no premium speakers. Someone must've swapped it out of necessity, because nothing else is upgraded on this e30 haha.
