It is a bad idea to use cut springs. If you cant afford good, safe lowering springs, dont buy crap, you wait. What do you do if you want sushi for dinner but cant afford it? Hit the pet store for some goldfish?

Cut springs aren't as bad as the kid that cut them....then tried welding them back together.

I dont understand why people care what I do with it. I mean i dont mind people posting in my thread and stuff but it really is my car and it has come a long way. If i wanted to scrap it i would of done it when i crashed it. I truly love the car and i dont want to own an other car (perhaps an E36 M3 Sedan) but at the end everyone has their own choices. What i really dont get is why people are making a big deal about my cut springs. It really isnt that bad. I thought R3V was supposed to be the helpful place for E30s. The first time i was on R3V was 4 years ago regarding help on some wiring stuff for my friends 87 is and it really helped us. I have used R3V for many diys and info but those are all the old threads. I feel like this is just a place to bag on people with a budget. Not everyone has a crazy amount of money to dump into their car.

If you can not afford it, then do not buy it. Like what was said previously, wait and be patient. Doesn't matter if you admit it or not, it's still unsafe for you and an abomination in this community. If you've been on R3v years ago then you should know this by now. But your compulsive behavior and desire to Look cool first, Is not what this community tries to portray. Listen and learn to what these Veteran Members are attempting to show you and don't let the jokes ruin Your day.
Do it it right or don't do it at all and leave that honda mentality where it belongs
