Got a little side tracked. The shop was an unbearable mess, then this came along and forced us to do quite a bit of renovations to the shop, get rid of old personal projects, parts cars, parts, but the effort over the last few weeks is well worth it...

This is not an open wallet build, but has a decent budget. For the power goals vs price, he decided to go with the Holset. It's an HX35/40 hybrid, it will work just fine.

why the holset? wouldn't a premium BB turbo with billet wheels and shit give you much better boost response? money doesn't seem to be an issue with this build so i'm a bit confused

so whats the plan for a plenum for the m20 itbs?

Minimum 1.5x the displacement triangular plenum with bell mouths inside. It has a Massive booster delete, so there's a decent amount of room. We are keeping the A/C, so it may get interesting. Had thoughts of integrating an A2W inter-cooler core, but nothing is set in stone yet.

I am quite excited about this too! Edited the first post, forgot to add you to the "thanks" list ;)

We have ~8mos to complete the turbo project, so this is going to be a "how awesome can we make this" build. Don't usually use forums to post shop projects, but thought people might like this one as it is very unique. It has been a great pleasure building this car, the owner and I have become pretty good friends because of it :)

We also built his brothers' cars. e28 Mtech 528e (soon to be s52 powered) and other brother's 332ti. Great group we have down here!
