This will be my first post so i may just be throwing this in the absolute wrong area but here we go.
I bought this car actually off of Rev about 2.5 years ago and have daily'd with the M20 since. Bought with all service records/dealers tags and original everything. 1987 325e 5 speed tan houndstooth.
had a set of ccw's then came across a cool set of HRE's for a good price in original E30 spec bore. Also love the set of broadway static suspension i ended up going with. 16k 18k spring rates.
Ive done the IE camber toe kit, and a 3.73 lsd.
somewhere around -5 and -6.5 camber
Interior: crackles dash, nardi stuff, euro clock, and aston martin Vantage Recaros
Well at 249k miles (running fine) i pulled the m20 because i actually had 2 e36 M3's fall in my hands after sell my e39 m5. One, a daily, the other wrecked in the rear. both '98 3.2's
I pulled everthing off the wrecked m3 (150ish miles) and began the s52 overhaul for the e30. The engine received:
(new unless stated)
-new cylinder head with machine work
-belts and pulleys/tensioners
-water pump tstat
-vc gasket and vc
-new timing chains and guides
-head gasket and ARP head bolts/rodbearings
-cams/lifters/injectors with 61k miles (removed and confirmed miles)
-new cam and crank sensors
-Cleaned block and surface
-rebuilt vanos unit/ oil lines
-bosch spark plugs
-all hoses
-trans shifter rebuild and linkage refresh
-M3 driveshaft
-e28m5 motor mounts and e21 trans mounts
-RED46 24v plate
-turner motor sports M50 mani adapter
- m50 manifold
- e32 brake booster and master cylinder
- New clutch and surfaced flywheel
- e34 throttle cable
- New steering rack/w knuckle
