Also forgot to mention I bought the Beisan vanos seals and rattle kit and installed that on Sunday. For anyone saying they don't want vanos "because it's too complicated" just get it.... It's literally the simplest thing to take care of once the motor is already out.
M52 head is at the machine shop. I had them resurface it, do all new valve stems, pressure check and clean, an also tap head for brown top coolant sensor. Hopefully picking up tomorrow [emoji41] also ordered my CES headgasket combo.
I need to figure out how to change the title of this thread from remote mount to 24v turbo swap!

Bump didn't forget about this thread! Been getting more parts in! Snagged 944 booster, master cylinder, chain guides and gasket kit. Waiting on tax return to order CES gasket combo and turbo stuff
Lots of parts showing up and being put on order!
My Lowtec 60/50 springs showed up along with 24v swap trans and motor mounts from slightlystancedbmw. I'm going to try to get the springs on today if my e90 drop hats show up.
I also ordered a 944 booster, RK tunes obd2 tuning package with everything but injectors, and a gasket kit for the whole motor. I just spent a shit load of money on parts so I'm thinking I'll wait till next payday to get my e34 throttle cable and modified trans mount brace. I may drop my head off at the machine shop next week, just depends on how my checkings account is looking [emoji102]
Car is getting sprayed next month, I was going to do the rest of the body work today but probably not since more goodies showed up today
Got the m52 head off today! Only thing I'm bummed about is one of the lower timing chain guides snapped so now I have to take off the timing cover and crank bolt to replace it. I'll be researching ways to get the crank bolt off without too much trouble. It will be going to the machine shop soon to get the head all cleaned up and decked. I'll probably do the top guide too since all the plastic is pretty brittle in the engine.
