I would say sounds like opposite of TOB to be honest, usually they are noisy when idling in neutral, but go away when the clutch is depressed. I know my current TOB is on its way out, and thats the sounds it makes.

Check you guibo and if that is shot, check the csb; most likely it is shot too.

Sounds like TOB but could be the guibo or CSB failing.I'm expieriencing a small problem, maybe one of you can shed some light or give me helpful input on to what is causing this.
When I am driving and I accelerate past 4,000 rpm's, the car starts shaking from around the transmission it seems like.
Also in neutral when the clutch is depressed it makes a chattery funny sound.
Are these problems interrelated? I think it's a throw-out bearing but I've been wrong before.Leave a comment:
