H6 Hartge clone reproduction build based on 1984 633csi

Update 9/27/16 bmw finally sold build project dead still have style 10 rims from my friend for sale $495 obo picked up or plus shipping.

5/28/16 Update sideskirts Sold are going to Augusta Ga.area and reduction on price of 633csi, with e34 basketweaves $1500obo for someone who wants to continue to do something good with it as I wouldn't be able to continue. I know NOT a for sale forum area but just putting feelers out there. The style 10 are sold separately as they belong to my friend.

Decided to start a build of a H6 Hartge clone or reproduction, based on a 1984 633csi automatic, red lipstick power comfort seats and Hartge assessories in a few days or a week or so, once I get it out of friends storage, and have a solid good start as its dirty and needs freshing up due to sitting a few weeks prior to my decsion. Wife been sick on and off for several months, so I can work on at home once I move one of the 2 cars from the house, one is a 1986 745i turbo light project for sale and a few others I have for sale, in other locations and I will be posting them for sale in those respective sections. I have friends who are master bmw techs and body shop guys who can help if what I am doing or want to do is more then my ablities, as i am more intune to parting out bmws them out instead of doing creations, more pictures and updates soon to come, so check in for latest updates! Also the rare E34 aero package from the assessories book only to purchase will be for sale once I get the Hartge rims are mounted on. That I will post in the WTB and FS sections. Also may have access to sports seats and 5speed if someone wanted to upgrade their 635csi or 633csi and even 533i including 535i
I will post more pictures and progress on the H6 clone reproduction as I go. Progress base on wife health during the time of project might go fast might take a couple months. [/IMG]

Needs new paragraphs.. a giant run on sentence.

The idea is cool though! I know you have stashes of parts. Have all you need for this one?

Nice project, Shawn. I've learned over the years that this guy has stashes of parts and cars all over the place so if he says he can do it, I believe it!

Good luck - keep us posted.

I know timemachinee30, lol I am using a tablet and in the hospital now currently with wife, as laptop is broken and haven't been able to replace it yet due to not working much due to alot of appointments doctor vistis and taking care of wife. I am getting some of what I need for this co op venture in a few weeks or so once I have it in a good start.
How is the information I sent you doing on the radar detector you have? I decided to do what I can now so I am on stand by if I need to take wife to hospital like today and I have momentum to work.

Thank you Jeff, I appreciate it! Hope the information I sent you helped you on the e21 today? I will have a few BMWs coming in, Well I will do what I can, I parted out alot of BMWs over 22 plus years and you got all the good stuff I collected but haven't built anything nice or epic, but I have motivation, on a car I want so I will do the build and do others. I have sometime so might try to be like some on here. I parted out my old alpina BMW and M5 so time to focus on something then sickness all the time as a break.

The Hartge parts will be shipped soon, once I get the candidate cleaned well and moved to in-laws house, have 2 BMWs already there that I am trying to sell for my customers, but think I have the 745i sold to a fellow member here. I living in a home owners association community and since it just me and the wife they expect only 2 or maybe 3 cars maybe at the property not 4 or 5. Once I start this build I don't want to draw attention in my small neighborhood as this maybe a fast or slow build with wife health, I will see if I can get a teaser picture of the Hartge parts or a few pieces before shipping, as of right now not ready for them once I am ready I will call for them, this will reduce liability of damage and so forth if they are sitting around waiting to be installed as they are very exspensive, going to shop where I am storing future H6 to get the Vin number for supplier of this co op venture build to see what is need for my first time ever epic build. Check in to see my latest projects parts and cars that I will be selling on the various sections.

Tablets are some of the most difficult to type on! Just jabbing at ya'.

Radar was sold. I would not be using it with my build. Someone else was looking for one. It found a better home. I enjoyed having it but found it a better home.

I look forward to the build. 6ers are a beautiful, timeless car.

I wish your wife and you strength and her full recovery.

Thank you 411 for the post and pictures that's the look I am trying to go for! I might dig up some side skirts off an old euro 6 I had and sold, not sure if zender brand if so they will not go on the project need to keep it as clean and pure as possible.

Todays update, was I bought a 1988 528e 5speed to part out, trans and motor already sold, to help fund the H6 build, I can move much faster on the part out than on the build, have to go back to what I know! Inturn this will help me on the build to get help from friends and compensate them on whatever I need on project or any other bmws I have stashed away due to lack of space at inlaws. Rundown is 1988 528e 5speed, white with blue, most of the car is complete 15 inch e34 basketweave rims, if anyone's interested in parts you can email me at bmwextremeparts@yahoo.com for pictures, I will post on Parts for sale and 5series forum soon.
