H6 Hartge clone reproduction build based on 1984 633csi

I never got to finish with my RHD BMW that I was going to attempt to build had to sell the M5 rims and my car to help the wife, after diabetic episode, this was what I bought after my M5 was totaled, info is on sale thread on the 5 series section. Working on getting a car to help ease the pain of giving it up 2 years ago trying to get something RHD again in time, but I will will see what I can do on the H6 clone!

As I am sitting in the hospital now, waiting on wife to get procedures done, I have come to the conclusion I just don't time right now for this project, so next few days I will finish up what I can and put the project up for sale, I will figure out a price for it, and how I want to go with certain parts that I will sell like the style 10's in addition,, I will find out from my Hartge supplier what is the best way to go on the Hartge items, if I can use for another project down the road or sell with the 633csi was hoping H6. The 633csi has the same motor as the South African alpina 333i, so this is a somewhat desirable motor, for the next owner to build on from where I had to timely stop. Had some time to get the car as clean as the bestnI could, last week just been parting out my 528e in the 5 series section here, which the car is close to me and I can move faster, and I know what I am doing on part out for money in-between hospital and doctors visits while she is working.

Within one week I have this formal 1988 528e parted out, saving whatever I can to sell to get me through as wife is out of work for the various days, part outs for me are fast, builds not so, I need more practice and time, and without help impossible for me currently. Everything has been sold!

Hey timemachinE30, yes, I didn't get far with build but I am happy with what I did do with the BMW as I added to it rather than deleting to its condition,, so it is a solid start for someone who can devote the time and money which I cannot with sick wife and my part outs and other projects, I will get a list of parts and pictures of the Hartge items I was getting for the build still might get some for another BMW I may do that is at the house and less effort for me. What I was getting was set of rims, rear spoiler, decorative strips and was going to get some side skirts from the old shop my friend used to work at where the car is with him at his new shop 50 miles away. I should have a better idea Saturday what AI am going to do, wife is a little better and back to work tomorrow matter being out for almost a week.

Update, last week, I got my old zender side skirts back from leaving them at my buddy old shop he used to work at. I will sell the side skirts with the 6 series or separate? I am at the point I am going to start selling all my parts and projects off to get something money in to help my wife and to get a car I want in Canada. Soon the 745i turbo will be for sale as well, has glass roof, and power seat controls in the rear for passenger front seat. I have gotten nothing done lately on this project, so I am now turning it over to the new owner who ever wants to buy it? Asking $1800obo motivated seller, first fair reasonable offer cash or cash and part trade gets the 6series, side skirts and basketweave rims, or similar type rims style 10's not included in sale, but are for sale but extra as they belong to my buddy. I have the owners manuals some vintage bmw floormarts and other parts that will be included. The Hartge items, I will get pictures and prices and see how my supplier would like to structure the deal with or with out 633csi being involved. During the times wife was sick I decide to do small private BMW swap meet with some of my good customers and even had one visit from Bogota' Colombia. Since the 6 series wasnt going to happen for me. I am always at work trying to help my BMW customers and this forum, but for this build project I couldn't due it based on time and cost at this time in my life.

Been awhile since last update on my wishful thinking project, which never came to reality, wife had surgery a few ago, so been taking care of her. side skirts are Sold, so may not be available if I sell the 633csi, also have the e34 basketweave that will go with the 633csi if sold, so reducing it to $1500.00 obo The style 10 rims belong to a friend of mine and he is asking $600obo plus shipping.
