First off, I'm so glad to be back on this forum. It's been nearly 17 months since i've used r3v. After I picked up my M3, my budget went from partially existent to non existent haha. Fast forward almost a year and I found a 1995 Orient Blue with Dinan add ons right down the block from me. He was only asking $1500 for the car, Ended up buying it that day and selling my M3 a few days later. Here's the progress i've made since bringing it home.
With the money I got from my e36 I drove down to the bay area and picked up a M-Sport front bumper, M5 rear bumper and a set of D2 coilovers
I installed the rear coils and was immediately very pleased with the ride as well as adjustability. Since the fronts needed to be welded to the perches, I dropped the front set off at Catuned for a weld and install. The coils got stolen from the shop during their store movement. Igor being as great as he is offered to replace them and weld them in as requested. After little to no hassle. They were installed. Alignment as well as full vehicle inspection was preformed by Ryan at RGMW. Shortly after installing the coils I picked up a local set of Style 5's and got to work on a restore. They've now been completed and swapped out with the old ASA wheels.
Currently waiting to take on a 5 speed swap and overall prepare the car for a possible s50 swap down the line. I will definitely be using you guys on the forum to help with that :)
