    Vorschlag weighed the m20+g260 at 497lbs. So this swap will save 40lbs. A lot less than I'd think, but it's something. The 240hp will be what's awesome though.

    After getting the harness in, we tried to start the car a few times then......



    Pulled the trans and got the pieces out. We got another starter and.....



    Pulled th trans again and I drove a hour to get a used factory starter



    No more starter problems!!

    Yes, I know. Again, you could follow a 240sx swap, or use a "rear sump" e30 subframe. I guess since there's no "bolt-in" swap kit, some people might be turned off? The s54 swap (or any other s5x rear sump) requires similar dealings, as does the LSx etc.

    Fucatypr, mind sharing your solution?

    How is that a "problem"? Anything that fits a 240sx will fit an e30 as far as frame clearance. The 240 swap pans are popular to use in our cars. If you prefer to keep a rear sump, Arc Asylum makes a sub frame to clear rear sump pans.
    Because the s2000 front crossmember is in front of the engine, the oil pan is more of a mid sump.

    We didn't weigh them (wish we would have) but I understand a company f20c swap with engine harness and ecu is about 460lbs
