I was going to, but the guys at Industrial Finishes (whom I've been going to for supplies and advice every step of the way) said the problem with rattlecanning it, even with Paintscratch is that rattlecan paint isn't catalyzed, and will be more succeptable to chips, cracking, etc. What's your guys' opinion?

My reason for just wanting to get it painted at a shop is I can get it done at the same place that did my bumpers, and he'll probably do the rear valence, as well as my Rieger front lip for well under $100. He only charged me $150 to do my bumpers and valence (good friends with his son in high school).

Go for it, I was just saying that since you tried that first time with real multi-part paint and a gun, so I assumed you still had stuff left over. If you get it done for that cheap by all means go for it. I just do everything myself, cus I am a cheapskate and don't trust anyone to do anything...

Have you decided what you are going to seal up the shroud mounting holes with?

Nothing. I'm not going to bother with them. I talked to Trent about it, and he didn't do anything with his, either.

I left mine alone too on both my eta and turbo, no problems or water leakage through the rainy western Washington winters and a few snow falls.

Exactly. They're vertically oriented holes, the amount of water that would run through them, if any, is negligable and would quickly evaporate.

Maybe its only cus mine is an 88, but mine puddled into the trunk regularly. At least put a square of black racers tape over them :)

Josh, you should just get some plugs like this from Miller Lumber to stick in the holes:

                    Cheap and easy.

The grilles and headlights are back in, too. We didn't get the rear on today, had to wait for some paint to dry, but those pics will be up, soon.
