Not yet. Only 2 coats of paint so far. It just started raining, so we're holding off on more coats.
I like the matte finish, so we might not even bother with clear.

Just a quick update.
We're still waiting for some parts so we can finish up the paint and body work, but we're getting REAL close. :)
A quick before/after of the body (in case you missed the before pics)

Refinished the wheels as well, just since we had some down time.
There's a stock wheel thrown in the pics just for comparison. It's cracked, so we didn't bother fixing that one. The paint was Wurth silver, from a can. Comes out real nice. We realize they're track wheels, so we didn't spend too much time on them. There still are some nicks and stuff, but since we bought these wheels used, they were in various states of different shades of color/finish/damage. Figured we'd at least make them all match.

Are you looking to rent a booth or have some one Spray it for you? Your probably gonna need to spray at least the bodywork/Rage with High build primer, Guide coat it, and then block sand before paint. Then I'd seal the whole car then paint.
I'd search/Post a thread in bodywork.Leave a comment:

Sorry, no updates yet. Just lots of sanding still to do. We're still looking for a body shop to help us get this painted.
If anyone knows anyplace in the SoCal (IE/San Diego) area, please let us know!Leave a comment:

This is a great build, very inspiring. Im not sure how I feel about the wheels but my opinions usually change when the project is finished. Please keep the pictures coming.
And I spent too much time reading the stupid bickering, do us all a favor and take it to some pm's.Leave a comment:
