+1 on the range rover orange. If I was to go through all the trouble of repainting an m3, not to mention an m3 with an already unique and stunning paintjob, I'd paint it something outrageous. I wouldn't do anything florecent or two-tone like that m3, but I think the orange would make your car bat-shit insane. In an awesome way.

Ive been seriously thinking about the Range Rover orange, BUT my painter got pissed at me, and wanted to know how I came up with that color-He was planning on painting his car that color in a few months.
any way, I brought home 3 HUGE color books tonights, and am about to go kill a bunch of Beer, and stare at colors.

I pulled the wheels to undue the brake lines on the front, and when I put them back on, I didnt even pay attention.
I am a bit retarded, but damn!!!!
Its really looking alot toward an orange shade, I too am feeling I should make it something more "wild" like the Vesuvius.
I am pretty sure that in about 5 years or so, I will be spraying it again. My father used to restore ALOT of 55-57 Chevys when I was younger, and the cars that were "factory" colors honestly brought thousands more when he sold them.

I'm sure whatever color it comes out as will be awesome, anything brighter than your other color (which was hot) will really bring out the flares, etc. I don't know if you can go wrong with any color, your wheels and stance will compliment just about anything. That said, I agree with blunt, go for what turns you on.

Seriously, I want that on a mantel, or beneath glass as a table.

Vesuvius and a midnight blue or black pinstriping with a heavy metallic flake in just the pinstripe, I dunno...either that, or a very dark orange with a very light color pinstripe in the stock location.Reminiscing...

I liked this pic too, it just looks like it wants to go fast.
As far as Pinstriping----naaaaaaahhhhh-- its just going to be a solid color.
I was talking to a good friend of mine yesterday, and he made a good point, the car isnt going to have that "evil" look to it if I do paint it a light color- but i think thats OK too.

Looking good Mike! I cant wait to see the finished product! :)
In all honesty though, part of me will definetly miss seeing your car in the currect color :( It is ridiculously nice in pictures, but in person its even better!
