Well it will be a great loss to our community. Hopefully you'll come back around with another e30 one day.

Well guys, I sold the car last week. I Have had so much fun, gained so much knowledge, and met so many great people in the time I had owned this car. It has gone to a great person who will continue to love and cherish this car as much as I do.

I just want to say thanks to everyone who has helped, weather they added their input or just followed this thread. At times it is what kept me going with the project. It sounds cliche' but I really could not have done it without you guys.

I never wanted nor planned to sell it, but it was the right decision for me to make. It helped me when times were tough, and it will help me move on to bigger and better things.

I just want to thank each and every one of you guys again for you support. I learned a lot from this car, and I hope that I was able to teach many others as well.

Thank you. I don't plan to let it go just yet. Atleast I hope not...

Honestly I have never thought much into it. Now that I do, it kind of bothers me. Could I just swap out the tach, or I have to do the whole cluster?

By far the best 4door on here, so much work into this car, looks great!!! You've done awesome work and props for all the work you have done.

I want a moonroof. let alone my sun roof. Its stuck shut :( Broken guide.

Keep up the good work. Look forward to seeing more. Also, didn't you say there would be a proper photoshoot? I only saw one, and the car has transformed since then.

    So keep your word :)

I have a small update. There arent many, because there is not much left to do. I am on the look out for an LSD as my next mod.

My iX booster was bad. I think there was a hole in it. Maybe I bought it that way, or while shortening the rod, welding made a small hole?
What would happen is, as the car is on, driving or not eventually the brakes would close.

Porsche 944 booster, painted and cleaned

    Threading the booster

    Shortening the Rod

    Booster removed

    New one in

    Bleeding the brakes

It was harder than it looks, lol.

    Sorry for the iPhone pics.

So I have been busy working on the car and have been stuck doing the same thing.

I decided to buy a moonroof, and I love the way it works, but I can't get it to cycle more than once. Lol, Im working on that.

I had to reupholster the slider since it was the stock e30 beige crap

    Slider stripped

Thanks to my mommy the middle supports sewed on

    Done!

I had to paint around the moonroof.

    Slider installed
    Open

    Closed

    Dry Paint

    Installed for one cycle, lol!

Since I had extra material lying around from the slider I decided to do my A pillars.

They were suede and faded, since I no longer have any suede in the car, it didnt match well

This is why people say to use UV treated material. This was less than a year in the sun

    Material cut

    Done

I also installed a new Chrome kidney thanks to Levent at Guten Parts!

I think this may be the problem with the sunroof, it is supposed to have a little stick poking out. I hope it is instock at the dealer

Absolutely incredible build man, what width are your wheels? And what size spacers did you go with? Where from? Did you put them in the rear? Did you have to roll the front fenders @ all? Again man, incredible build my hat is off.
