    New h00d

Picked up a new to me used hood last night for a reasonable price. It's an OEM Schwarz hood from a 90 325i and has NO dents at all in it, unlike my old one which really wasn't too pretty. It does have some rock chips here and there but no biggie. I clay barred it and waxed it and it looks awesome!

I am starting to want a new hood. The paint on my hood is a bit faded, to the point where it looks about a shade or 2 lighter than the rest of the car. It's also got tons of teeny-tiny liitle speckles all over it, which look like where the paint is wearing thin and you can see through to the primer, just like little pinprick size dots. It's a shame too, because my hood is flawless otherwise. Wonder if it'd be cheaper to just repaint it.

Looking sharp, is the paint in better quality then the rest of the car? When is the s50 car suppose to be done?

If yours is straight I'd say just have it painted.

Hopefully sooner than later. Work has not been constant and the 85 needs some love before I start directing all extra cash towards the 89. Believe me, I want it done too!
