How much it costs depends on how many tools you have (like MIG welder, hoist, etc)

Our swap cost about 8k; we had some false starts and did development work, replaced parts (brakes, rotors, wheel bearings, control arms, etc)

If careful, you could do it for @6k

how much was the ls1 engine? and how much was the trans?

Engine with T56, wire harness, PCM, Camaro driveshaft, Camaro fuel pump assy shipped from Portland to Seattle: 4k Engine & T56 had 55k miles
