What did you do to your E30 today?

Chased gremlins, got my oil level light to work, removed and cleaned ICV and TB cleaned up the engine bay and broke the fuse box cover. Damn

Got both my new axles in. Easiest car to swap axles on for sure 20 min a side.

Ordered a purge valve, picked the wheels up from powder coating and took them to get mounted and balanced. Picked up seat belt cover(goes over 17mm bolt), weather stripping around drivers side door frame(I need drivers side inside door sill), A/C lines, receiver dryer, rubber plugs for wire holes(cruise control, SRS, ...), C101 electrical boot, and tweeter for drivers side.

Ordered a SR440X starter....joy now the waiting begins.

Fixed my windshield wiper sprayers, cleaned the top of the block, and adjusted my valves.

Installed a newer dash that only has one not so bad crack in it.
Never mind the cluster. Its coming out again for some LED lighting to brighten it up a bit. Also have some black suede boots being made for me. Cant wait!

Why paint when you can plastic

Hi I'm new to e30s and I'm really enjoying reading all the post and taking in as much as I can at once... I started with a really bad paint job and just wanted to cover what I had while I was fixing up the car and driving around ... I stumbled on a product call plastic dip has anyone ever done this or know anything about it ?

Just ordered a new rear deck (where the speakers sit) and a few other trim odds and ends.

I am stoked that I got the last one in the country.... SCORE

Got my wheels on, with new tires. Put the ICV and TB back on. And picked up my trim that is freshly powder coated.

-E3oswapme-Plasti dip is a really interesting product. There is lots of information on it's uses. I have seen a lot people use it to shadow line their E30's and other BMW's trim. Search on you tube and you should see a bunch of different application uses. The best part about plasti dip is if you don't like it, peel it off. But it is not really easy to peel off.
