Continued working on my rear bumper and trim, and my engine gasket kit came today. Time to finally start putting this bitch back together.

Finished the hood cable/handle replacement way easier than I thought
it would be. I cleaned the lock at the same time, the plastic cap that
protects the mechanism had popped off the assembly so it was full of
grime and sand. The hood now opens effortlessly. And my rear brake
line is leaking right under the drivers seat...........:(

I need to replace my hood release cable, I have to damn near break the handle off to pop my hood.

coolasacuc, great work cleaning that block up.

I sanded out another skim coat of plastic epoxy on my rear bumper and trim, then did the filling on the next section of the bumper to be repaired, the large vertical parts on each side.

Funny that you just got done installing it, I just not too long ago got done tearing my entire system out. I love how my engine bay looks without all that shit.

I haven't used my AC in years, I probably remove it eventually.

I have a baby on the way so I have no choice for the summer :( It does look like ass the guy that ran my lines had to be on crack. he just made the low pressure swoop down in a verry unclean way IMO.

Today I replaced front brake lines, flushed the brake fluid, replaced a tie rod endlink and power steering boot, took off my oil pan, found an upper pan bolt in it, put bolt back in place, changed gasket, put said oil pan back on, and changed the oil.

                              Bimmerfest here I come.
