Isnt that wheel a little big for you guys?

no, its the same width as my blackline, and its slightly ovaled so it feels real good.

                      Update!

so last weekend james and i burned out the old rubber bushings and mounts from the trailing arms and rear subframe. it was fun and pics will be up soon. we didnt do too much more on the car really but we did spend all day cleaning the shop very extensivly.
anyway with a newly cleaned and well organized work enviornment we will be ready to rock some more next weekend.

Today my friend Tom Adkins and I removed the cabrio. no pictures but may it rest in many peices. Now that its out of our hair however, working on the 3 will be much more calm and fun, rather then stressful and rushed. :)

Tonight, i was crusing threw some threads and was very excited to see IVO316 (thanks so much) took my shitty crayon Pro3/sauber paint skeem and made us this

Its very close to how the car will look so get used to it. if your not a BMWSauberF1 fan then... well you should be watching nascar and jacking off at every wreak.
                      update done

I finally got around to really reading through the site and stumbled on this. Looks like a ton of fun. If you guys need an extra hand anytime, drop me a PM. I don't live to far away being in Auburn. I can be a wrench monkey anytime...
                        Need a part? PM me.

So I'll be working on a Photoshop of the paintjob I was thinking of...I'll post it here when I am done as well as in the PS thread you got. This is what I'm basing it off of:

We'll see how it comes out...

Well, the contours of the stripes don't really match up well with the E30, so I'll try your original idea and post that, but the one above does not work at all!

This is my idea...a little oddball but didn't take too long to make:

...and yeah it was the only white E30 pic I had that really worked...

i dig the hood...not feelin the sides though...it's to heavy and will look blocky with sponsor/logos on the sides...i'd go with a more minimal apporach to the tri color and leave the sides mostly open...when you start adding it decals for sponsors etc it'll get cluttered and distracting really fast. i'd keep the stripe on the hood carry it over the roof and onto the truck...done
