Garret, how are you guys liking the Tokico suspension? Have any problems with the additional weight?

And 16" Hartges would be very nice indeed.

I currently just have a vid of our first start-up, but it sounds like shit (since it was the first start-up). I'm going to make some more vids asap.

Oh and after thinking about it for the past 2 seconds or so I think I want 16" Hartge's so if anyone has some they want to get off their hands hit me up.

Wow. After a dozen likely people saying they were going to stuff a LS1 in an E30 and then not hearing anything much more or seeing a "project" with hacked custom work and a wiring nightmare for sale, someone pulled it off. And well.

Clean stuff man, congrats to you and those who helped. Awesome. Vids?

16x8 e32(?) wheels. Piercede30 has them on his car. Theyre gangster, pretty cheap and 8inch wide which is pretty nice. Only drawback is 5lug but with a LS1 you should be investing in brakes anyway :D

All these pics should be on the bimmerforums thread. I know that thread is a little messy so I'll just put up some of the recent pics here as well.

VIDS ARE SOON TO COME! We've been hesitant to drive it hard yet because it's still in its break in period. Bleeding the hydoboost is also proving to be a bitch. Next time we would just go with a 6" dia vacuum boost at the end of the linkage instead but oh well. Also the clutch slave cylinder was dripping (a very small amount) for a little while. We thought we were going to have to pull everything to fix it but it appears to have ceased. THANK GOD.

There is still quite a bit to do. We're switching mufflers. She still needs paint, wheels, and plastic bumpers but that is all fairly elementary after all that we already been through haha... Then again there is the option in the future of internals, new rear end, roll cage, etc....so....who knows if it'll ever REALLY be done...

Emissions Story: My dad took it over to state emissions on his lunch. They asked what type of motor it had and he said 5.7 L v8. Apparently they had a blank stare and then just entered that into their comps...haha. They never even opened the hood. IT PASSED EMITTING 5-10% OF THE ALLOWABLE FOR TEH e30!! lol... This was a HUGE relief for us.

PICS!! Some are a bit old but whatev.

    The finished engine bay.

Don't know why this one is so small...sorry

    One of many CATIA models...

    It's a LITTLE tight...lol

FEA of the mounts. Failure is at something like 10g's ....so no worries.

Vids soon to come I promise.

I'll answer any and all questions you guys have. Also, I really want to show up to some PNW meets and stuff. Figure you guys will either really appreciate it or hate it...or both...haha. When is the next PNW meet/BBQ/etc? I'm really bummed we didn't make the XXX one. Oh well.

Finally, 2 things: WHAT WHEELS should I go with? We have blown a lot of money so far so unless I get a killer deal I am on somewhat of a budget...for now. Also DOES ANYONE HAVE PLASTIC BUMPERS THINGERS THEY ARE WILLING TO DONATE TO THE CAUSE? I'll rep you tough for sure
