    E36 Destruction!

A while back, actually a year and a few months ago, I bought an e36 parts car that was totaled. I needed it and a bunch of parts for my budget m50 swap.

Just recently my parents were tired of having a shell of a totaled car sitting in the backyard while I was off at college and I had to take care of the piece of shit.

So I grabbed a bunch of my friends, 2 sawzalls, 5 blades, and 42 beers, and finally got the job done.

I towed the car to my house with our Durango by renting a U-Haul trailer. It barely worked and we had to winch it to get it all the way up.

    The engine:

    The final product:

    Now for all the fun:

    Crap all over:

Two final piles to take to the dump:

    And lots of parts:

Hope you guys enjoyed the pics..

    Andy

Though I can only dream of doing a swap right now its great to be able to live vicariously thru others by watching them do it.

looking good, but there one thing that i command you to do, paint the rest of your trim around your windows so it matches the back drivers side pop out.

That bugs me really bad for some reason, but other then that looks good

    Its in...

After some careful maneuvering we managed to squeeze it in there.

We didn't finish till late so sorry for the dark pics.

I can't wait to work more tomorrow. It'll be a long day filled with fun. We pretty much have all of the post-putting-the-engine-in work left to do.

I can't wait!!! So far, for being my first engine swap, I feel like its going pretty smoothly..

Enjoy the pics, plenty more to come tomorrow..
