Thanks guys! I rolled the fenders tonight and I think its going to work. I got the 215/40's mounted and it looks much better than the 215/45's. I didnt get too crazy with the roller and so far so good. I took it on a drive tonight and no rubbing under acceleration and only a hint of rubbing at lock and entering my driveway. The curb is a joke and you have to come in at a 45 degree angle or you will damage the front valence. The car is so stiff that with the sways I actually have to carry a bit of speed otherwise I get stuck teetering on the drivers rear and passenger front. I've had to get out of the car to push it off the driveway a couple times.
Anyway...

Looks much sweeter with the smaller sidewall. Time for some glamor shots!
LOL at the teetering...that must be one stiff chassis!

Didnt quite get it to 2 wheels, but I was close. I did get stuck however and had to push the car off the curb.
I went for a drive this afternoon, close to 30 miles. I get rubbing in the back under compression on the highway and it drives me nuts. I dont really want to roll the fenders any more, I just dont want to butcher them up. I could stiffen up the rear shocks but then the ride gets really shitty. I think I'm going to put these up for sale or head overto Bf.c and see what the E36 guys have for trade... :(Originally posted by Simon SWhen a dream is a dream for too long - it becomes a fantasy..

Why not just get some stock lips for the rear two and rebuild them as 8" wide? The wheels are beautiful, they just need some massaging.
