Car is amazing. Just saw this thread. Very cool. Everything was done right. I would expect nothing less from the motor build as well. Looking forward to seeing more progress on the car.

btw i sent you a pm. Thanks.

No worries, I appreciate the help. I think he is aware of what he did and is just laying low.

I can only imagine the amount of dry-rot on these items after sitting un-used for sooooo long.....:p;)

I have all new belts and hoses that were purchased summer of 07 so I suspect you're probably right regarding the dry-rot and I will have to buy new stuff... again.

Just for you Christopher, I went down into the basement and took some pics tonight.

Here she is, I still have her.

The steering rack is blown, pours out nearly as fast as you pour it in. I have an E36 M3 rack that will go in when the motor comes out.

Yes, the motor is coming out. Hopefully soon.

    and more partz:

i was over there the other day to pick up a fender roller and when i walked into his garage it resembled the adams family house with webs all over. and insects had actually formed a cocoon around the immobile procrastination project car. i guess the only positive thing we can say is he hasnt sold it yet

I hope you decide to sell this car.

Because I would buy it, drive it to LA, put it on a ship, convert it to RHD, cover it in poop swatches and do skids.

You don't have anything against selling to mentally disfunctional Australians do you?
