    my $1500 e30 project...PICS AND PROGRESS

well, i just bought this car from mattdk318i and we just also got it running so i guess this would be the best place for me to post pics and follow up on progress. stay tuned everyone!!!

    how i bought her:

    the day she was finished

check how bad the oxidation is on the hood
but she's getting we sanded and buffed sometime this weekend

    and my favorite pic
. i know this isn't the nicest car on r3v, but keep in mind it's a project.

    plans are:
mtech II front and rear valance
"is" side skirts (or taurus for now since i have them already)
    h&r race springs on HD's
    azev's type a
    redo the interior
    paint
    mtech II steering wheel
and maybe mtech I rear spoiler.

thanks for your coments and hope you enjoy the progress over the next couple of months.

Agreed, you need Bilstein sports if you're going to lower it, the HD's are for stock height vehicles. Otherwise, not a bad start. :D

so this evening i started removing some of the oxidation. i thought i would have to wet sand, but thanks to my handy rotary buffer, there was no need.
                  before

                  my comparison shot

and after; and i still haven't waxed or taken out swirlz
