    shhh, i was tryn to keep my laziness on the DL.

    no, no progress at all. besides buying more parts for a car that doesnt even move yet. im going to be unemployed as of 1/1/08 (tryn to get in as much hours as i can before then), so as of then i will have alot more wrenching time, and i already have bought more than enough parts, so as long as i can afford gas im good to go!

    $175 on ebay for the Vanos tools from Baum Tools. thats the cam locking tool, cam sprocket wrench, vanos air fitting, flywheel locking tool, and the chain tensioner.

    $250 off of a Matco tool driver that was getting out of the business. I bought a bunch of BMW specific tools that day. But I am on the wrong coast to loan them out.

    Teaguer why do you say the wrap is going to allow them to fail sooner rather than later? Reasoning?

    Only thing I can think of is Moisture being trapped in the fabric when the car is off.
