Cool project. You should definately swap the front brakes from the 325i to the 318, i'm pretty sure the 318 has solid rotors, while the 325i has the vented ones, I think the caliper and carriers should bolt onto the 318i strut housings, or I have heard you can use the thinner 318i struts in the larger diameter 325i strut housing, but i'm not sure on that one.

Update:

Just purchased a 5-speed, comes with a short shift, and sachs stage II clutchkit... I'm stoked on this part, it will make the car alot more solid!

We worked long and late last night... we got the M20 out, disassembled and we also tore down the M10 as well.. The head appears to be in great condition as i expected a auto granny owned M20 to be.. The pistons have the usual carbon build but in great condition as well.. Super stoked that im going to have a strong runner.. Also found out the M10 wasnt in the greatest condition soo im glad i didnt spend anymore $$ or time on that lost cause!

For sheez.... I Just picked up a 5 speed with a Sachs stage II clutch and UUC short throw kit from e30s52, met me half way and gave me a good deal and mobbed up in a dumped e34 on M Parralells! Thanks

Little more progress...Rear subframe is out, now its time to rip the one from the gold car and assemble the new LSD/Disc rear...
Got a shitload of parts in new and used, mostly gaskets, bearings guibo's, ect, ect. Bought a 3.73 LSD with 90k, also bought a flywheel and now im looking for some help as to how i go about getting it shaved/lightened..... anyway on to the pics..
